Mr. Donsbach is a founding member and managing partner of Donsbach Law Group, LLC. His practice focuses in the areas of Business Planning and Formation, Estate Planning, Probate & Estate Administration, Individual Tax Planning, Taxation and Real Estate. He received his LL.M. (Masters of Law) degree in Taxation from Boston University in 2000. In 1999, he received his J.D. degree from the University of Alabama. While in law school, he served as an Intern for the Internal Revenue Service District Counsel’s Office and as a student editor for the American Journal of Tax Policy. Mr. Donsbach majored in Economics at Vanderbilt University and received a B.A. degree with a minor in Business Administration in 1996.
He was admitted to the State Bar of Alabama in 1999, State Bar of Georgia in 2000, and State Bar of South Carolina in 2001. In addition to his state bar memberships, Mr. Donsbach is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Federal District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, Federal District of South Carolina, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Tax Court.
After more than twenty (20) years of practice, Mr. Donsbach has extensive estate planning, probate, and corporate practice experience, involving the drafting as well as litigation of these matters in the state and federal courts of Georgia and South Carolina. He has served as a special master in both federal and state courts, as well as being a certified mediator. With his real estate practice, he handles numerous residential and commercial real estate closings on an annual basis, including 1031 transactions. He is currently a Title Agent with Chicago Title Insurance Company in both Georgia and South Carolina.
He is a member of the Augusta Estate Planning Council, Augusta Bar Association, Past President of the Martinez-Evans Rotary Club, Former Cubmaster for Pack 56 at Stevens Creek Elementary School, Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 10 at the Church of the Holy Comforter, and member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mr. Donsbach was selected by his peers to be honored in the Atlanta Magazine, Georgia Super Lawyers – Rising Star Edition and rated as Superb by AVVO lawyer directory.

Mr. Anderson attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where he received a B.A. in Political Science in 1986. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he attended Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. At Emory, he was elected to the Order of the Coif and received a J.D., with distinction, in 1989, graduating in the top 10% of his law school class.
After law school, he spent eight years practicing law at two prestigious Atlanta firms. In 1998, he moved to Augusta, where he became a partner with Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, a global law firm then employing over four hundred attorneys worldwide. In January 2004, he left the big firm to practice on his own until 2014, when he joined Donsbach Law Group.
Mr. Anderson is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and the North Carolina State Bar, and he is admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court and the United States Tax Court. He is a member of the Augusta Bar Association and the Augusta Estate Planning Council, for which he has served on the Board of Directors for the past twenty years.
Mr. Anderson is also active in his community, serving on the Board of Directors of Lynndale, Inc., a non-profit organization assisting persons with developmental disabilities, on the Board of Directors of SHCC Supporting Fund, Inc., which supports Sacred Heart Cultural Center, and is a past Chairman of the Board of Advisors of St. John Towers Retirement Community.
